Rena's Amazing Boudoir Session

Warning: Some of these photos are definitely not appropriate to view at work.

I had a blast working with Rena doing her boudoir photos. She was a ton of fun to shoot and I am in love with the pictures. I just love taking these photos and helping women to bring their inner sexy out!! Rena will be giving these photos to her fiance on their wedding night as his wedding gift. He's one lucky man! :-)

I have so many photos that I love from this session so I am going to post them all! I hope you enjoy them!

This one is the most risque photo in my opinion so close your eyes if you get easily offended!

This one was more for fun than anything. She had just gotten into the bed and had this happy dream like feeling about how comfortable the bed was. I just love this picture even though I cut her feet out because it was a moment that I had to capture quickly!

Another natural moment. I love this one too!

This one isn't very "boudoir" but it's a great shot of the lovely Rena!

That's all folks. See you next time! Hope you enjoyed it.

A before and after

Fine tuning and enhancing images goes such a long way. I just love editing and making photos that much more special by putting that little bit of extra time and effort into them.

Here's a boudoir before and after photo of the lovely Rena. This is standard glamour editing for all of my boudoir clients. I've smoothened the skin and given it that glamour glow. I've darkened the background to bring the focus on our beautiful bride to be. I warmed her skin up just a little bit and saturated the colors and added a contrast boost.

I hope you enjoy!

Erica and Brandon - Sneak Peek 2

To balance things out, I thought I'd show a photo of Brandon before I get back to editing photos from my other clients. I have a couple more sessions to finish up before I can get to the rest of these.

Here's Erica's other half! :0)

Sneak Peek - Erica and Brandon

Erica and Brandon were actually married almost two years ago. Unfortunately they didn't have a good photographer and were left unhappy with their wedding photographs. Erica first contacted me back in January and we just did their shoot tonight. They got dressed back up in their wedding attire and we went all over and got some amazing photos of them.

The following photo stood out to me the moment I got home so I uploaded it and edited it. Brandon isn't in this photo but he'll be in many that are soon to come.

Oh and I very rarely do this but I wanted to share both the before and after version of the photo. Some times people think these images just come out of the camera looking amazing. This photo has about 45 minutes worth of work put into it to take it from capture to completion.

More photos from Erica and Brandon's session coming soon!

ND Wedding Album Proof

This is a 13x9.5 wedding album. The images you are viewing are 2 page spreads. Imagine a line directly down the center and that's where the fold in the book will be. There will be a slight gutter but you won't lose any image as the print is continuous across.

When opened, the book is 9.5 inches tall and 26 inches long. The images will be much larger than they appear on the screen as the book will be much larger than the monitor viewing space. If an image takes up half of one page (one side of a spread), then that image will be at least 4.5x6 inches.

New Blog Layout

I decided to change my blog layout. The old one matched the colors of my logo which is all part of my branding but the purple text on the black background was a bit difficult to read without getting spots in the eyes. So, this is my new layout for now. I hope it makes reading my blog more enjoyable for everyone. :-)

Until next time.....

Amazing couple!!

It's almost 2am and I am finally winding down and about to go to sleep but before I do, I just wanted to talk about this amazing couple that I met tonight.

Rebecca and Justin drove over an hour to come and meet with me tonight to see my albums and more of my pictures. I showed them a DVD slideshow on the big screen T.V. and I saw their eyes light up which of course made me feel awesome! And at the end of it, they even clapped for me! So cute!

During the entire slideshow, Justin kept rubbing Rebecca's back. They were so affectionate and so in love that I wanted to start snapping pictures of that moment because these two are head over heels! I love clients who love each other this much to the point that it just radiates sunshine around them.

Oh and did I mention, they are super adorable? This is one smoking hot couple. They booked me for their engagement session and their wedding and I cannot wait to start shooting them during their engagement session. I can already tell they're going to be up for a good adventure and with the love they have for each other, we're bound to get some AMAZING shots!

Until next time, good night!

First time for everything

For the first time ever, a client came to meet me with her father which I thought was so awesome. I've never had a client meet me with her mother or father for that matter. They always come with their fiance or one of their sisters or bridesmaids but never with the parents.

Melissa drove in with her father, Brian. As soon as they walked in the door, he started asking me what equipment I shoot with. Turns out dad is a hobbyist photographer who knows his stuff. I had so much fun talking shop with him and showing him all of my camera gear. Melissa is going to be such a beautiful bride. She is such a pretty girl. I adore her features. We had a great time and shared lots of laughter during that meeting. I will be shooting her wedding on September 19th 2009.

I took a photo of Melissa and her father, Brian while they were here. I'll post it soon. I took it on my new camera and I have to upgrade my software to open the file. :-)

Oh and dad approves of the fiance. Afterall, the Fiance's name is... Brian also :-)
